1. Site content and intellectual property

The site design, DJ STREX branding, original writing, photography, artwork and archive presentation are owned by DJ STREX or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, scrape, republish or create derivative commercial material from site content without permission.

2. Music, recordings and third-party rights

Mixes and embedded recordings may contain music owned by third-party artists, writers, labels and publishers. The site does not grant any right to copy, download, redistribute, sample, perform or commercially use those works. Playback through YouTube, Mixcloud, SoundCloud or another provider is also subject to that provider’s terms.

3. Historical archive

Recovered release notes, dates, tracklists and comments are presented as a good-faith historical archive. Period wording may be retained, while contact details and inappropriate material may be removed. We may correct, annotate or remove archive material if better evidence or a legitimate privacy or rights concern arises.

4. Memory submissions and ratings

You keep ownership of an original memory you submit. By submitting it with publication consent, you grant DJ STREX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, moderate, publish, format and promote that submission as part of the mix archive. We may make minor edits for length, spelling, clarity, privacy or safety without changing the meaning.

You confirm that your submission is your own, is an honest account or opinion, and does not infringe another person’s rights, disclose private information, impersonate someone, contain unlawful or abusive material, or promote spam. Ratings should reflect your genuine opinion. We may decline, edit or remove any submission, and publication is not guaranteed. You may request removal through the Contact page.

5. Booking enquiries

Submitting a booking enquiry does not reserve a date or create a performance contract. A booking is confirmed only after the parties separately agree in writing on availability, scope, fee, payment, cancellation, travel, equipment and other relevant terms.

6. Shop purchases

Products are sold through shop.djstrex.com. Product descriptions, prices, checkout, delivery, refunds and purchase terms are governed by the policies presented in that store and by any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious code, automate abusive requests, evade spam controls, harvest personal information, or use the site for unlawful, misleading or harmful activity.

8. External links and services

The site links to and embeds third-party services. We do not control their availability, content, security or data practices. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement, and your use of those services is governed by their terms.

9. Availability, warranties and liability

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but archive content, links and embedded media may be incomplete, unavailable or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Queensland will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any applicable consumer rights.
